NGC 3918 prime focus and EP projection, today's oldie image

NGC 3918 at prime focus of 8" f/5 Newt, [slightly right of centre], and EP projection + 2 Barlows.

Raymo, might be an idea to also include the object name in the thread title, just to distinguish between every new "today's oldie image".

You'll probably get more responses too, instead of people thinking it's the same thread.

Hi Peter, it is an apparently very small planetary nebula adjacent to the right arm of the Southern Cross. You can see how small it is through a 1000mm f/l scope in the left hand image. If I remember rightly it is actually about half a light year in diameter.
