Ivo,
the programme worked well, but not the extra feature you provided.

What are the problems? Can you describe them in short?

yes Ivo, manually setting off the exposure list worked a treat - just had to remember to start the sequence each time. it was a good experience - even had you program on the nightly news (fleeting glimpse LOL)

If you have a link with the news I'll be happy to see it!

I'm wondering if the looped plan didn't start or it just failed to stop when you wanted?

The site is updated with version 1.32. It contains a fix of a problem when Digic III camera is used with serial cable.

There is no need to update your APT 1.30 if you use other camera or you don't use serial cable.

On the Download page you can get the latest Tooltips in English. Corrected are some typos.

I apologize for the inconvenience!

I'm happy to announce that with the great help of Henrik van Holthoon, the first translation of the Tooltips is a fact! The Ducth version can be found in the Downloads page of the APT site.

Many special thanks to Henrik about his work!!!

On the site you can also see what translations are in progress

The English version is changed too since the last release. Fixed are some typos.

“Astro Photography Tool – APT” turns one year! Happy Birthday APT!

I want to express special thanks to all that purchased APT! Also I want to thank to all that shared their feedback, ideas, suggestions and opinions. Last but not least I want to thank all that helped me in this long way!

If you look back you will see how APT has gone from smart shutter into a powerful astro imaging assistant with many features, some of which are unique. And this is the beginning, something I want to assure you, is that APT will be actively developed while there are users interested in it. A lot of new things are planned and the way to see them becoming real is to support the development with, I think, a fair fee.

Here is how it looks today:
http://www.ideiki.com/astro/skinAstro/AptSitesmall.gif

If you want to review the evolution check the “History” page on www.astroplace.net. There also you will find a demo version, a list of all features, the User’s guide and screenshots.

A new update is expected in the early February and as usual will be loaded with a lot of new things in addition to the “PHD Guiding” program integration.
