F6 Lemmon and Gacrux

Hi. Here is F6 from the early hours of this morning. In my hast of setting up and some clouds that looked ominous, the alignment was poor. Wishing now I took more time.
I could see the comet in the finder so locating it was very easy.
Looking forward to Tue 12am Adel time when f6 goes close to Acrux and NGC4609.

Very nice Steve!

Good colour, nice when comets are in a field with dso"s or brighter stars.

Cheers,

Justin.

Nice pair. Was just as I saw it last night. Didn't get any pics myself though, too tired.

Thanks Graeme. It showed up really well straight out of the camera. I couldn't believe how bright and colourful it was

Thanks Justin. I was happy to get F6 in the same FOV in the 8" f5. I was checking out skysafari and thought it would go close and crossed the fingers. I have not done a great deal of imaging through the newt as yet and was pleased F6 made it in... Or Gacrux made it in haha

Thanks Kevin. I tried to keep the field as wide as possible to show the proximity of F6 to Gacrux.
