Astrophotography In The Eyepiece

I was thinking about this idea long time ago but technology wasn't there at the time when I was young

"Unistellar developed a device that makes every backyard scope a joy to use. Their digital eyepiece uses image stacking and other image processing techniques to produce incredible images right in the telescope eyepiece."

How is it any different to the well-established GSTAR camera that integrates multiple frames in real time? (albeit on a computer screen, rather than in an eyepiece).

There have been a few integrated telescope systems come out (mostly on Kickstarter) in the past few years but I'm not sure if any of them have actually hit the market yet.
As to how well any of them will actually perform, that remains to be seen. A lot of people already do it though, its called Electronically Assisted Astronomy (EAA) and SharpCap does a brilliant job of it.
