EQMOD or a GPUSB unit?

Hi all,

I currently have an EQMOD setup for when I autoguide.

Should I stick with my EQMOD setup or go ahead and purchase a GPUSB unit to connect directly to the st4 port on my eq5? Would I see any benefit going down this route?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
Rob.

+1 for what Peter said, especially if you're always imaging and thus have the laptop out. EQMOD with wireless controller and planetarium software is VERY civilised with good pulseguiding settings to tweak (more than ST4/handcontroller/GPUSB).
