I hope very soon Col. I do feel that my inconvenient work hours i.e. nights mainly!, the weather and other circumstances have conspired against us lately.

Haven't updated this for a while since selling half a dozen scopes, but reacquiring ONE...

1988 manufacture Takahashi FC-100, with lots of extras (many custom made)

She not only looks beautiful (IMHO), but performs incredibly well.

Only managed to properly image with the OTA once, and never used the mount, but this is my current set up.

Thanks Matti. It's odd how I have moved from "the heaviest mount you can move" to "the lightest mount that will do the job"

I tried to get the green version but they were out of stock !!
I have the pick and pluck foam in there at the moment but eventually will replace that with a Lightware Flip Lid 8 soft case that will fit inside the Pelican.
The Pelican is the perfect size to slide under the bed in the camper van.

No light baffles?

Is that a Bruce Sayre design?

Built by Bruce Mills UK. http://brucemills.webs.com/20inchf4telescope.htm

Awhile ago I bought a 20" f4 Zambuto off an Astromart auction on a whim, as you do. When to my surprise my bid actually won I then had to decide what scope I was going to put it in. Doing a bit of googling I came across Bruce Mills scope and long story short he offered to sell it to me.

Yeah I was thinking of bringing it. I may not be able to go though due to work commitments as this cyclone means the shut I was due to finish early next week is delayed and now won't finish until the 21st atm. Goddamn weather gods

There's some very nice workmanship in that scope.

(It really needs some baffles to work properly though)

Very nice Barry. That mirror is going to give killer views. Do you use a shroud? I would expect you need one to keep the mirror clean and dew free.
