I put my name in the hat early , towards the end of the second run I hadnt heard back and there were people who were on it from day one who were similar so bought a very clean TV 85 which i like a lot . I am visual only

X mass eve I get the notification ,, I'm guessing since our dollar is lower than ever this will be around 6K landed ?
Asked the family if they would like to surprise me ,, blank stares i'm taking as a maybe for now .

A bit of thinking to do

Don't die wondering. My AP92 is a gem.

I think you can't go wrong if you do decide to go ahead. It will sell quickly and return your money if you decide later to let it go.

I sensible choice. Contrary to what others say, I do not believe you could move it on without loss. And perhaps may cost a little over AU$6K on your doorstep. There are many fine refractors in the 85mm - 95mm range for less money, and as you have found perform just as well for the visual observer.
