Honeywell HD4DX security cam???

Have the above cam in perfect condition and working order for NIX!.
Took it apart last night to examine the sensor chip as a curiosity
There are no details on it's number unfortunately.

I have intentions of using it for Planetary imaging primarily and maybe(???) some simple, brighter D.S.O.'s.

This would of course need a mod to the chip/circuit, but as I don't know what number/type SONY HAD chip it is (except that it's 1/3 inch colour/b/w), it's a bit of an impossibility.

I have searched the net and all the specifications don't list the number/type.........anywhere

It's an enclosed 16 pin type sensor from visual inspection, and that's about it

Any ideas guys?

Reply back from Honeywell was PATHETIC!..........fobbed me off to contact local suppliers/distributers/dealers, bla, bla, bla, to get more information on their products.........yeah, like I'm goin' down that road!

In the process of finding a schematic (good luck ).
Have details on one I.C that is the driver chip. Looks like I might have a problem identifying the larger Samsung chip next to it.

Either way, if it can't be modified, it will do very nicely as a planetary cam.
