Did anyone notice A glowing object in the sky this afternoon.south east direction from 5pmm on. tony

we could see it naked eye bright as about 5.15 pm yesterday, https://www.facebook.com/BathurstObservatory/?fref=nf ,,,,A link here and a picv oof the Balloon.

I snapped a shot in Port Lincoln yesterday at around 8 am. iPhone app-Skyview- designated it as ST16 R/B. Apparently Russian, and has been up there for a while.

ST16 R/B may well have been in the sky at the time, but what you saw is much closer - and much, much brighter!
