I realise this is an old thread but I have just had my mirror recoated by Saintech and could not be happier with the service. Dropped the mirror off at around 11 a.m and was driving back to Brisbane late that afternoon with my newly recoated mirror. Even better I was there for the whole day, saw the process from beginning to end and had a really interesting chat with Dr Sainty about the equipment and process.

Wow - drove from Brisbane to get a mirror recoated - thats keen !

Wayne does a terrific job , and that coating system he has assembled is without doubt the best in the country .

I have the original packing boxes so it would almost certainly have been fine by courier. But the word "almost" nagged at me! The mirror would be expensive to replace so I decided to wear the cost of the fuel to be on the safe side.

Wise move Richard, I plan to drive up to Taree after winter to have my mirror coated as well. I wouldn't be keen to post it either.
