M31 from the deep south

I'm located at a dark site just out of Hobart (42.8821° S, 147.3272° E)
I got curious last night and had a peek in the North to see what I could find. Bugger me, I spotted M31 and M32 as relatively easy targets in 15 X 70 binos

Couldn't believe it. Has anyone else seen it from further South?

I have seen it just a degree or so off the horizon from -45.7 here in NZ and I bet N1 has too from further south..

Yes, transparency was particularly good last night. Andromeda was easily seen in 7x50 binoculars and my 8x50 finderscope just a little further south from you at the Astronomical Society of Tas observatory, Mt Pleasant.
