March Photo Challenge - Entries (Please Post them here)

The topic this month is: ... "Anything After Sunset And Before Sunrise "

OK, that sounds pretty wide.
Enjoy your journey to the DARK Side, but stay safe.!

Now for the small print: ...
This thread is only for posting your entry, together with any comments/explanation/details you'd like to issue concerning your own photo.
But if you would like to comment on other people's entries, or have any "other" shots of your own you'd like to share, then please use the Comments and Rejects Thread -> HERE.

Remember the Rules:
* one entry (just one image) per person and
* the image must be your own work.
* all other normal forum rules, and image size limits, apply.

The image doesn't necessarily have to be taken this month, but in the spirit of the challenge, we do encourage it, so you get out and get into it and enjoy the challenge.
In this regard, YES, the image may be one that you have submitted to a previous photo challenge, unless of course it has already been voted a winner.

The winner of the public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo added to our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame" thread.

Good Luck!

ASV Messier Star party

I took this picture this morning at the Astronomical Society of Victoria's Messier Star Party. Lots of people and telescopes, it was a very enjoyable night. I saw a few deep space objects for the first time: Markarian's chain, Eskimo Nebula, Hubble's Variable Nebula, M83...

20 Images, 4 rows, 5 columns, 14mm Samyang, f2.8, ISO6400, 20 sec, Canon 6D.

Masked Owl

This is a rare owl for our area, and I believe this was one of the first pics taken of one.

Cheers Reverend.

Kerry Memorial Hall is in the Kerry Valley south of Beaudesert, and Old Time and New Vogue dances are held once a month. The floor of this hall is one of the best in the Beaudesert District, nice and fast even without pops. This shot was taken a while ago.

Haven't had time this month to get out and about, but I thought I'd resubmit this pic. Sun went down and venus came up.
As the sun went down, we took the boats out fishing.

I hate too much cloud, and dislike as much a large moon, but seldom they can work together to be appreciated - just a little bit.
