Moon 12-11-2018

I finally got time to site and tinker with some stacking.
1st attempt at this so happy with the result.

40 frames used for tha final image
PIPP
stakkert3
Registax

Found a youtube guide and mostly followed along.

Source frames were not super, due to phone camera. But I think some of the details have come out ok near the central crater. Tried not to go too heavy handed with the enhancements.

I find the moon a constant target just to sit and watch. Fascinating details and with the right eyepiece, just sitting there so close.

Tidy result from a phone camera Drew, not easy to process the terminator when it's in this phase but you've done a pretty good job.

I love your image.

You take simple equipment and produce an excellent result.

You can be proud...not too proud as "pride" is a sin and even if not of that following it is good not to be "full of ones self"...well no one needs to be full of themselves... maintain a high level of confidence but at all times remain humble...you know folk around me say I am so humble that I appear weak...thats good particularly if they try anything on in the mistaken belief that humble equates to a push over... folk think that I am too humble. .my only problem of course.. but heck what would they think if I actually outlayed just how wonderful I really am...rather be called too humble than an arogant fool which is the truth but hey I need to keep that a secret...so be moderately happy but not too happy such that you risk burning in hell.

Great images so please post some others...we..which means "I" want to see more...think of who you will encourage and help them do what they think is beyond them...you set a fine example so keep it up.
Alex

Thanks Alex.

Yes, just a little bit happy with the result. Not to shabby for a phone.

As for burning in hell? I'm already on that bus, it's just a matter on deciding which seat I want to sit in.

My legs feel like they are on fire from the knees down...maybe a warning☺.
My daughter bought a new phone and the camera features blow me away...it even does slow motion.
The only image quality astounds me..I think she said the front camera is actually two cameras. ..I must ask about that.
Are you going to go after the Moon "x" ?

Thanks all.
I'm a little happy with it as an example of what i can do.
Have had some additional interest in it due to being "basic" equipment

Yeah Alex, After. Not going to jeopardize the moon trip!
