Refractor focal reduction -- help appreciated.

Hi guys,

I am currently using a 0.8x focal reducer on my ED120 and I'm looking for something that will give me a bit more field.

I've read through some historical posts here, including a very informative post by Bert but I am still unsure of what the best options are and wondered if anybody here could point me in the right direction?

I was hoping for something around 0.7x and the only readily available options I have found so far are the Vixen ED 0.67X Focal Reducer and the William Optics Flattener 4. Unfortunately the latter only seems to do 0.75 -> 0.8.

A bit of field curvature at the edges is something I'm prepared to deal with.

If anyone could advise whether the Vixen would be a suitable match or perhaps suggest another product I would be very grateful.

Cheers,
Brett
