Another M42

The Great Orion nebula is like pizza in the following ways:
1- Even a bad one is still pretty good,
2- no matter how many times U have it, U don't really get sick of it.

On that note, let me present to you my wide field view of the metaphorical pizza 🤣

Due to the location of this target in the sky with respect to my localised light pollution, I was unable to get good contrast in the surrounding faint dust clouds. Perhaps I should get an IDAS light pollution filter one day.

Location : My backyard in suburban Melbourne Australia.

Great result Waqar
I particularly like the depth / darkness in the background sky. It really sets off the nebula.
It's definitely a quality Capricciosa (with anchovies)

Best

I really like how you have captured the dusty regions in this one.
I do have some quibbles about the colour and brightness of the Trap region,
and it would be nice to see a much higher resolution version....but that is a very fine M42.

Nicely done

A superbly three-dimensional feel. As if we are looking at the hollow interior of one half of a scallop shell.
