Can't get focus

Hi,

I'm new to astro photography and am having troubles getting focus on stars,
I've taken some great shots of the moon but need some help with the stars.

I have Celestron C8 SCT, f6.5 focal reducer, celestron radial guider, and eos 350d. rigged in that order.

I have polar aligned the scope and send the images straight to my laptop to adjust focus.

I've got an extension tube but have not used it.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks and clear skies,
Shaun

Use it and see what happens....I'll bet that's the problem.
