QHY5L-II Mono Guide cable

I have a case full of my cables all mixed and have confused my QHY5L-II guide cable with a few other RJ10 cables and can't remember which cable was the correct one.

Anyone here with the same camera can provide a picture of the correct RJ10 cable?

Cheers,
Stefan.

It should be a standard RJ11/RJ12 Cable with 6 pins, make sure there are six coloured cables in there and they are the same order at the other end and you are good to go.

Check your cables against the above ST-4 reference.

Ok think I found it but the colours are different.

With the clip facing me it goes from left

Yellow, blue, red, green, black, orange.

As long as the colours are the same on both sides it will be fine.

now a piece of masking tape with the words "Guide cable" - applied to the wire will obviate any repeat performance.

I always put mine back in the tin - it's easy to find - it's the really curly one in the tin

I will however be filing this thread away in case...
