ok i will bight - -which lens base does SOny support - theirs only, canon or nikon? thats a fair lump of a camera

If it's anything like the other models they use a Konica/minolta mount. Even with a 3Mp advantage it will have to be exceptional to beat the 5DII

The Sony DSLR's can use all Minolta AF lenses and Sony's lenses. I am very happy with my A100 and can't wait to get my hands on the A900.
