AC adaptor advice for AZEQ6GT

With great excitement I unboxed my newly delivered AZEQ6GT yesterday.
However upon checking the contents I was immediately aware that the AC power adaptor I bought isn't going to fit.
Further reading and online queries revealed that it is probably the wrong one anyway.
It is a celestial unit that outputs 12volts @ 2 amps. The manual says 11-16 volts and 2.5-5 amps.
Bintel have one that outputs at 12 volts and 7.5 amps, would this be a better options?
This same unit is also avaliable at jaycar

I have one of those 12v 7.5A adapters and it does work but the fan in it is quite noisy. I bought a 12v 10A a.c. power adapter and attached a cigarette lighter socket to it. This 5A one though is cheaper and would be more than suitable for the mount on it's own.
