Neowise

It was great to finally see Neowise with my own eyes(through 50mm binos). I wish I had a better widefield setup(and skills). I dusted off and charged the old Canon 450D(Iso1600, F2.8). Had a few issues and time constraints but managed to get a couple images. Looking forward to experimenting more over the coming days. Shot from Coopers Shoot, just behind Byron Bay.

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm enjoying chasing this even though its not as spectacular as it was for the northern hemisphere. Its definitely not visible with the naked eye but on the camera screen after a pic you can see it, then centre to see it with binoculars.

Pkay, As soon as it is dark enough(about 1hr after sunset in my case), it is directly NW and up about 12 degrees.

I downloaded the Stellarium app on my phone and it has been handy to help find Neowise as you can forward and reverse the time to see where and when it will be relative to your location. I have found on both nights so far that the comet is about 3 degrees further west than the app shows, but the height has been accurate.

I wanted to try to use some zoom on it tonight but time and clouds got the better of me.
