Saturn and Mars 30 June 2018

I was pleasantly surprised to see some nice seeing last night around 11pm. I had slightly prepared for the chance by uncovering the telescope in the late afternoon, but never expected to see good seeing. Probably the best seeing this season so far, but I finally have all three planets on the board for the year. I captured Saturn and Mars. Mars is showing little if any real detail and I don't even recognise the area I captured.

I reckon the seeing was around 7/10 or slightly higher. There were some very still moments for the Saturn captures.

Excellent Paul especially Saturn - very sharp, nice details in the rings and bands. Definitely up there with the best.

Tony.

Wow. That Saturn pic is awesome

I'm afraid to ask how much that photo cost to take?
