LPI & Vista (it works)

Hi all, after months of waiting for Meade to come to bring out a patch which would get the LPI to work with Vista and then to find out that they had decided that it wasn't worth developing in the end I was feeling a bit peeved.

I then found on another forum a thread where a member had suggested a simple fix to this problem. I gave it a whirl and 5 minutes later I have an LPI working perfectly with Vista.

Now if the clouds will just go away I can get out there and get some practice in.

Cheers

thanks, Ric.
perhaps you would post a link to the forum and thread that had the solution, or post the solution yourself?

Hi Jase, I didn't think of using it as an autoguider but you are right, they do make good autoguiders as well. I have also heard that the LPI is handy for imaging double stars so I am keen t have a go at that as well.

Cheers
