Circle of confusion question

Greetings all


Ive been trying to find a formulae that will allow me to calculate the circle of confusion for my iphone6 camera.


Can anyone assist.

It’s a rather muddled concept which is not surprising from the camera industry. The real question I suggest is what’s the angular resolution of the iPhone camera, and even that depends on what the target is - a star, two stars close together (Dawes criterion) or a pattern of black/white lines ...
