Dew systems suitable for AP?

Having only just started to dabble in imaging with a DSLR and a borrowed ST-10, I've realised that dew season is approaching. I have the "astro-zap" 2x2 channel system on my big Dob, and have been very happy with its performance over the years. However, browsing the on-line products, I notice that Kendrick in particular make a big deal out of being 'imaging friendly', in that their hardware produces negligable RF emission.
Has anyone ever had noise issues with their imaging gear they attribute to a cheaper (ie astro-zap!) dew controller?
thanks in advance!
Andrew.
