Help-Power Supply

A while back I purchased an SBIG STV unit off Astromart but it came with a 110V AC Adapter with the North America pin plug configuration.

Does anyone know where I can get a 240VAC/12VDC 2A 2.1mm Center pin negative unit from. Most AC adapters I have looked at are center pin positive and the plug and unit a molded/sealed so you can't get into them.

Or, if you're not confident with a soldering iron, pick up one of the Jaycar or DSE 12v power supplies with switchable DC connectors. You can normally attach these in either polarity. It's not as neat, but it will do the job.

Something like: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView...T&SUBCATID=381

Cheers,
Rick.

With a bit of a lead time I can get a plug pack for you, 12Vdc 3A for $29.00 plus delivery but if you need it quick then another alternative is - http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView...T&SUBCATID=521 - May need to check the 12V current rating doesn't say anything.

I am still cleaning out old stock at the moment so i am not re-stocking until all the other stuff is cleaned out.

Thanks for the offer Malcolm but I will try Jaycar and see what they have on their shelves...Ricks link to Jaycar looks interesting.

I don't really want to modify a unit if I can get one with the correct polarity.
