Securing a Lightning connection

I run a Skywire from my iPad to the SW Synscan handset (no, I do NOT intend going WiFi or Bluetooth thanks), and used to run it rom an old iPhone 4 with the 30 pin connector - nice and secure. Now I am using an iPad Mini with a Lightning to 30 pin adaptor (my Skywire is old ) and everything works PERFECTLY, but my only concern is unplugging/disconnecting accidentally.

Is there a way to secure a Lightning cable so it is not as easy to pull out? A loop-back so the cable tightens without pulling out the connector?

Now, I know someone is going to say go BT or WiFi - no, I'm not!

Normally the lightening connector is quite a firm connection.
Check carefully with a toothpick the female end of the device hasn’t got fluff compacted in it! Somebody suggested this at work with my 5s, and sure enough, full of fluff. Hopefully easy fix!

No, mine is tight, but it is still a LOT easier to pull it out accidentally than the old 30 pin.

I designed a cable clamp today, so I'll get Stefan to 3D print it for me Easy really.
