M42 and Horsehead

Here's 1 hr of (60x 1min) subs using a Rokinon 135mm lens with an ASI071. Cooled, guiding (so I could dither & drizzle), UHC filter.

Captured with SGPro which I've just started on(also got LMC and Eta Carina on the same night but haven't processed yet).

Processed with PI. Just noise reduction stretching and sharpening. It is low res (7.3 arcsec/pixel) so I dithered & drizzle integrated to see if could improve some details. Kind of worked - also attached is M42 cropped and zoomed in.

I'm sort of happy with it but the dust clouds are very red. Have to fiddle with.

Thanks for looking

Very nice, but yes too much red as you said, and also the blue is suppressed;
the running man should have a distinct blue tinge. There is also some blue in the outer part of M42 itself.
