Finally some decent weather in Melbourne

Can't wait for this evening, finally some decent weather to set up.
Just hope the clouds stay away...

This doesn't look too promising, maybe tomorrow night - before the moon pops up

Clear skies

That's my plan, set up and align tonight (trying out 3.35 on Synscan) and do some visual, and fingers crossed for tomorrow night.

I had a perfect clear sky last night for 15 or 20 minutes, then clouds and a deluge came.

I've given up. I rang up Foxtel the other day and added more channels to watch while enduring this miserable weather.
Cheers,
Renato

My own vomit has been more palatable than Melbourne's weather this winter.

I think you must be talking of a different Melbourne to the one I live.

Cheers

Not blessed with country air and dark skies here john.
Set up the rig tonight after work, had dinner and saw the skies were clear with stars.
Tucked the kids to bed, then it started to rain

Was always going to happen. Forecast was for showers and cloud and didn't look anything like clearing up on the radar.

I'm over it big time, at least I have my beer, BBQ and a week off work to look forward to

Bloody Melbourne, you sent the crap weather to Sydney. Cold and windy-freezing cold.

Ok, just who in Melbourne bought new gear, judging by the run of rain and clouds, it must be something pretty special.

I'm not sure Bo - but given how bad (astronomically) the weather has been for probably the last three months there must be a whole village of amateur astronomers somewhere nearby! And I ain't one of them.
