I.C.2220 Today's oldie's image

Best viewed at 67% screen.

Otherwise known as The Toby Jug Nebula. This needed longer subs.
For some reason I don't recall ever seeing an image of this object in the beginners section.

Very interesting Raymo.

Also called the Butterfly Nebula (in Carina).

You have captured both the red giant in the middle and the nearby blue giant.

My bucket list is getting rather long...

A great image!

Thanks Peter, this is one object that is not helped by diffraction spikes.
