I now have a modified scope thanks to Mr Handy Man Erick he moved my mirrow up the tube of my scope so i can now start a bit of imaging woohooo yes it worked i now can focus thank you Eric your a legend

Could you please tell me how you moved the mirror up, was it with just longer collimation bolts and longer springs, i have a bintel 8" and its primary is mounted similar to the skywatcher, and was going to get longer collimation bolts to use a dslr. but was'nt sure if it'd be enough as the t-ring and the t-ring adaptor add around 6mm in addition to the 5mm of infocus required for prime focus.

Alistairsam, let's have a look at the camp and see what the best approach is. I have some new bits for Jen's scope to replace the temporary job we did last camp. If that works for her, it may give you ideas for yours. First step is to estimate how far the mirror has to move.
