My New G11 arrived!
I am now the proud owner of a brand new G11G...couple of images attached...I have it on the LW tripod as my setup is not permanent - yet so the mount/tripod combo is portable - just.
I have even had some clear nights to go with it so have been able to measure the PE and familiarise myself with the Gemini system a little.
I would appreciate it if fellow G11 owners could share any tips/trips/tricks when using the G11 for AP, in particular the best use of PEC function and what guide parameters might be a good start (I have PHD, Guidemaster and AA4 that I can guide with).
The guidescope is a WO66 SD with a QHY5 - 2.75" / pixel
The imaging scope is a 127mm ED with Opticstar 145m and Atik usb filter wheel - 1.4" / pixel so I need to guide to about +/- 0.5 pixels which I think should be achieveable with this combination.
