It depends on each camera as they are all different.

or if you're lazy like me & most people
just use gain of 3% and offset of 115.
That should mean that you won't peak out the top at:
2 to the power of 16 = 65536.


If you come close at 50,000 to 60,000 it will be OK.
You can check it with Maxim DL on bright saturated stars.
What value do they read?
PS - make sure you use only slow readout.
