This is an old thread but it turned out to be a reflection from neighbours window in the direction I was shooting. Planets are low on my northern horizon because it's uphill to the local volcano so house in that direction are only 10-15 degrees below the sight line.
Not hot pixels as it has only ever shown once in any pic.
