5.5 cubic will be heaps and if it is the thickness of the side walls all the way through there should be no problem with vibration from foot traffic to the pier; without it being isolate. In fact I reckon you should be able to jump up and down whilst guiding and not even make a dent to the guide graph.
5.5 cubic is about 11.5 tonne or thereabouts.
