autoguiding... Help!!!

I'm hoping someone can give me some pointers with my autoguiding setup.

I have a meade LX200 10# being guided by an Orion Starshoot autoguider piggy-backed on an 80mm guide scope.

I run the autoguider from a macbook running windows XP under parallels and the guide camera is connected to the autoguide port on the meade mount.

I'm using PHD Guiding software and I get a picture through the camera.
What appears not to be working is the mount adjustments going back via the camera to the mount. PHD has done a calibration but within 10 minutes or so guiding is lost because the star has moved. I also get errors from time-to-time saying "not enough movement" when calibrating.

I have tried the manual guiding within PHD but the mount doesn't move.

I'm hoping I have missed a setting some how.
Is anyone else doing something similar?
Cheers,
Ben.
