well i had a hack at it tonight - my wedding anniversary
and managed to get a happy snappy - canon40D slightly modified and a 135mm lens on a tripod. its a pity that it was shot from the burbs - going to a lake or somewhere flat with it being guided or at least tracking longer exposures may have brought out the lagoon neb near venus
