Olympus cameras and astro-imaging

I have an Olympus OM-D EM1. They are a fantastic camera. They have quite small pixels at 3.75 microns square and I can't help but wonder how well it might do for some occasional OSC imaging if I can get it to talk with MaximDL or some other image acquisition software that I have (Nebulosity mainly).

I see that Maxim does have an Olympus DSLR option in their camera setup and see also from Cyanogen's site that this works with their E-1, E-300, E-330, E-400, E-410, E-500 and E-510 models. The EM1 is not specifically mentioned.

I'm wondering if any of you have had a fiddle with Olympus cameras an astro imaging and have any tips/info that might he helpful.

Peter
