Sounds like I will probably give this a go when I've got a chance.
The EQ6 so far has been a better imaging mount than the LX200, but, it's getting to be galaxy season, and I need to get the longer focal length in play before I pull apart the EQ6!

Are you saying that these are a better type of bearing in general, or do you feel that the SKF bearings you had were bad?
