With the $ having crashed well below 70c US, I'm seriously considering buying some Camera kit from local grey-importers before the effects on price filter through. I wanted to wait for the Canon 5D MkII, but may opt for a 5d now to avoid price blowout.
Right now prices on L lens and Camera bodies through these grey (and Aust retail) outlets are the same as they were a few months back, but can it last.
Before I do succumb to panic buying is anyone aware of any reason why the $ difference might
not impact (or not fully impact) price in Australian outlets...
