I find starnet++ slightly destructive in regard to detail at times and there is little control. I also use a Newt so diffraction spikes aren’t so great for this process. I much prefer to manually remove stars so I can make sure no detail is lost or obscured (especially details that can be confused with a star or detail very near a star). It’s time consuming but also quite an education.
