New recruit
Hey everybody,
Name's Matt and I'm based north of Newcastle.
So after reading posts in IIS for ages, I've finally gotten around to signing up and starting to contribute.
Bit of a background. I've been looking at the cosmos and been fascinated like you all for nearly 37 years and at one point had a 8" Skywatcher Dob and a 5" Mak but sadly had to sell them about 7 years ago.
Finally in a position now in my life to start to enjoy the stargazing more and starting to ease myself back into it with some wide field astrophotography.
I will hopefully be purchasing a new scope at tax time of which I'm sure you will see me post up many questions about scopes in the forums cause the next scope I get isn't going anywhere and sticking with me.
Anyway pleased to meet you all electronically and look forward posting and commenting soon.
