I've attached examples from the Astronomik Type 2 (not c), and the Astrodon, both blue filters, both showing a mag 8 star, both from 8min exposures with the same camera. Stretching is different, but you can clearly see the difference in halo.
Also note that the Astrodon shot was mildly out of focus, thus the star size difference.
And of course the filter wheel is working fine this morning in the daylight hours....
