My family has a holiday house down there which I've spent quite a bit of time at over the last 30 odd years so I'm reasoanbly familiar with the area even though I don't live there. Hence chose it as a coastal location to try
Definitely take the AstroTrac
but I should've picked a more sheltered position or somewhere I didn't need to have the tripod extended so high to see over railing. I was planning on a different spot but when we returned from getting fish & chips a bunch of picnickers had taken it!
