It'll definitely be a dust mote on your camera's CCD/CMOS sensor.
Can you post a picture of it?
You can try and blow/brush it off using the right tools/techniques, and/or use flat frames which should be done anyway, but have the added benefit of reducing the visibility of dust/dark spots/vignetting.
