The Fog of Misinformation

In response to Bill just below, and many others, I would suggest you chase the vaccine if you want it early and your in the current priority groups (1A and 1B). No one is forced to get it and if your happy to wait for whatever reason then that is fine.
The government eligibility checker, (link located here):

https://www.health.gov.au/initiative...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

is a good place to start. At the end of the questions in the checker, there is a post code checker that will show you a list of GP clinics participating in the vaccine rollout at the present time. You do not have to be a current patient of a GP practice to book in for the vaccine, and there is not suppose to be any discrimination in favour of current patients of a practice. It is OK to 'shop around', so to speak, among those nearest you, to find a booking.

Looking at the providers closest to Bill in Narangba, QLD, based on proximity, there are four close in but 20 listed further afield. Some of these do not have any current appointments available through the online booking system, however, if you search by "Earliest Available" a few have online appointments available within two days (Like North Rise Medical Centre, and the Morayfield Respiratory Clinic).

Do not overlook the Respiratory Clinic facilties, they are participating clinics for the Covid Vaccine rollout and likely do not have as much demand as local GPs.
