Thanks Greg, I too had thought that this might be how our galaxy looks from a distance, albeit with a few more spiral arms or sub arms.

Thanks MnT, those little galaxies are fantastic. The one about 7-8 o'clock really shows the spiral well.

Thanks Rick, yes it is a little dimmer than some of galaxies I have imaged, I had to stretch it carefully so as not to show too much noise.
