I can get focus with my QSI583, but I had to buy the WS cover, rather than the WSG (with off axis guiding) because of the 46.5mm back focus of a Nikon lens.
I'd probably use a guide ring on the lens if I were using a longer prime. I'm not sure it would be necessary if using a 50mm lens. Still to build my planned bracket to support the camera properly. Will post a photo in due course.
