Nice shot Glen, an interesting part of the sky which you've captured well. Light pollution filters do change the colour balance, I will often try and remove a cast in PS by using the
Selective Colour function. This will add or remove colour in areas where there is a colour lacking or contaminating another, you adjust CMYK sliders left or right which affect the colours you choose to correct.
