As far as colour, I try and keep the colour close to how I perceive it in the eyepiece but I'm also using a colour camera which means I don't need to change much.

Interesting, try keeping to what is seen in the eyepiece. So with the Ha scope it is more red maybe I need to do that. My thought was to go more yellow/orange but staying with the red of the Ha makes sense. Interesting article here also
