If you're using the Imaging Source IC Capture software - click the help button for a drop down menu.....
I usually use the DMK with Y800 settings 640x480, minimum gain (around 200) and set the exposure time to give a bright image. around 1000 frames is a good starting point.
Dump the AVI into Registax 5/6 and select your "best" frame as the quality setting - align on as many points as you want, stack then minimal wavelets....
#6 cleans up seeing....work your way down to see the effects on screen - use #1 and #2 VERY sparingly or you'll end up with a "over cooked" contrastly look.
